Starting Sunday, December 15th, NS and NMBS are doubling the number of trains between the Netherlands and Belgium, from 16 to 32 times a day. In just over two hours, Eurocity Direct will connect Amsterdam with Brussels. This new connection comes on top of an intercity connection between Rotterdam, Breda and Brussels, namely EuroCity. This is the new way of train travel between the Netherlands and Belgium: frequent, fast, comfortable and sustainable.
Eurocity Direct
The connection between Amsterdam South and Brussels South Midi is called EuroCity Direct. This train runs 16 times a day and stops at Schiphol, Rotterdam and Antwerp along the way. You are in the heart of Brussels within two hours and eight minutes.
EuroCity
EuroCity departs from Rotterdam to Brussels 16 times a day. This train stops along the way at Breda, Antwerp Central, Mechelen and Brussels Airport-Zaventem.
