Turkish Airlines is expanding its network with flights to Melbourne

From March 1st, Turkish Airlines will fly from Istanbul to Melbourne, with a short stopover in Singapore. To date, the airline reaches 129 countries and 345 destinations on 5 continents. With the start of flights to Australia, the airline now also takes its passengers to the 6th continent in the world.

Turkish Airlines continues its route expansion strategy by adding Australia, a destination that has long been on its agenda. As a result, Turkish Airlines now flies to all continents in the world. The airline will fly to Melbourne three times a week from March 1st 2024, via a short stopover in Singapore. With these flights, Turkish Airlines is the only European airline operating flights to Melbourne Airport. Flights will primarily be operated with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

With the purchase of new aircraft that can operate non-stop flights, Turkish Airlines aims to provide direct flights to Melbourne and other potential cities in the country in the coming years.

Generous legroom, full flat seats, an extensive in-flight entertainment system and WiFi (free in Business Class) are some examples of features that can be expected on board the international flights. Turkish Airlines has also been awarded several times in recent years with prizes for Best Business Class Catering and Best Economy Class Catering for the ultimate gourmet experience, served by a Flying Chef.

Business Class passengers and Turkish Airlines Corporate Club members can also benefit from the exclusive lounges during their transfer at Istanbul Airport.

Among Lounge access, Turkish Airlines Corporate Club members can benefit from discounts, flexibility and additional baggage allowance.
